Ever Ahead: Ever Historical
John Bowles and wife Ann's only connection to Mary Baldwin College dates back to the Civil War era, when Bowles' great-great-grand-uncle, Joseph A. Waddell, served as secretary to the Board of Trustees. Yet the couple was so compelled by the college's vision that it established a scholarship fund in honor of Waddell for high-achieving students in math or science. Read more about the fund and other recent contributions to Ever Ahead: The Campaign for Mary Baldwin College.

> TAKE ACTION THIS MONTH …
  • MAKE PLANS TO REUNITE: Reunion 2013 registration is due March 8, and the multi-day event line-up begins April 11. Check out the full schedule of events online.
  • BRIDGE THE TUITION GAP: The Baldwin Fund without you is like Ham without Jam. Many people are unaware that revenue from tuition covers only part of what it takes to operate Mary Baldwin. In 2011–12, donations to the Baldwin Fund infused the college with more than $1.4 million to sustain vital functions, and we'll need even more this year. Help bridge the gap today with a gift or pledge.
  • KEEP US IN YOUR LOOP: Make sure MBC knows what's happening in your life between editions of printed Class Columns in Boldly Baldwin.
