In the News Stuarts Draft woman named teacher of the year "I love my job," said Allison Sprouse ’08, who on Friday was named Augusta County’s 2014 Teacher of the Year. She earned a master’s in teaching from Mary Baldwin College. Fountaindale second-grade educator named Washington County Teacher of the Year Every day for the past 12 years, Courtney Leard [MBC Class of 2002] has loved going to work.
	>	Reunion Awards Honor Outstanding Achievements and Service One of the most anticipated events during Reunion Weekend is the annual awards presentation. 	>	Celebrating 116 Years of Service Friends gathered earlier this month to celebrate four members of the Mary Baldwin College community who are retiring this year after decades of service.
	>	College Remembers Familiar, Friendly Groundskeeper Last May when Timothy Ray "Burt" Kennedy was recognized for 35 years of service at Mary Baldwin College, colleagues gave a standing ovation in honor of the quiet, friendly man who was often seen working to keep the campus beautiful.
