ASC actor Rick Blunt (MFA ’06) crafts bigger-than-life characters
Full of stories, he regales about working at a butcher shop as a teenager, climbing telephone poles during a job in his 20s and being a bouncer at Luigi's on North Augusta Street while in grad school at Mary Baldwin College.

  Day to Lead the Way > Online Day of Giving Raises $74K
Mary Baldwin College’s one-day social media fundraiser engaged 541 donors and raised $74,000 for the Baldwin Fund.
 
  MBC Sign > Class of 2014 Dedicates New Sign
Faculty, staff, and students joined Class of 2014 officers May 16 to dedicate the senior class gift, a curved brick sign and planting bed marking the Frederick Street entrance to the college.
 
  Dmitry > Community Mourns Loss of ‘Bright Star’
Mary Baldwin College, the Heifetz International Music Institute, and the greater Staunton community were shocked to learn that Russian cellist Dmitry Volkov — who was nearing the end of his yearlong, successful classical music outreach — passed away May 10 from a heart attack.
