Hello Kitty

I know no words. My hair stays white Over days Through weeks And Under years. I do not grow restless,
I just watch in silence, My black eyes observing. I do not sweat
When you smother me. I feel no fear When I fall. When you love me I am speechless. When you lose me I am quiet. When you forget me I am mute. You could say the cat’s got my tongue, Lips, And teeth. I feel no sadness when I realize That I’ll never learn to smile, To laugh,
Or to say hello.
