Mary Baldwin University’s Cheerleading Team was founded on September 5, 2016 by Ariel Robinson (Class of 2019). The cheerleading team was created to bring school spirit to campus. This team promotes strong leadership skills and support for another. It was built on leadership, sisterhood, dedication, and positive energy. The MBU Cheerleading Team does not just uplift others during sporting events and activities, but are role models to everyone at the university. We participate in bonding activities, mixers, game nights, workshops, athletic events, and much more. Our team is diverse and everyone contributes something different as we try to learn from each other. We are more than just a TEAM, we are sisters. We welcome and encourage newcomers each year to join us!
