Advisory Board of Visitors

Advisory Board of Visitors

The mission of the Mary Baldwin University Advisory Board of Visitors (ABV) is be an advocate and resource for the university—its faculty, staff and students.  They interpret University goals and programs to its various constituencies, counsel the University Administration and the Board of Trustees regarding programs, services and activities that will benefit the University, and advance the objectives of the University and its development program.

Who are the ABV members?

The Advisory Board of Visitors is comprised of accomplished alumni and industry/business leaders who have been chosen from geographically and professionally diverse market sectors. They are appointed for an initial two-year term and limited to three consecutive terms, with renewal at the discretion of the President. Board members serve as key ambassadors for the university by taking the relevancy of Mary Baldwin to their own community and region. Their strategic priorities include university engagement, Capstone Festival sponsors and volunteers and advice on prospective board members.
