Mary Baldwin University alumni are extraordinary, and their accomplishments benefit both society and the university. To celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni, recipients of Distinguished Alumni Awards are nominated by Mary Baldwin University alumni and the greater MBU community.
No more than two awards in each category will be given each year, with the exception of the Emily Smith Medallion, for which there is no such restriction. Awards are presented during Reunion Weekend by the Alumni Board president.
