Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences (MDCHS), Mary Baldwin University, located in Fishersville, VA is seeking a registered nurse for a faculty position in the RN-BSN online nursing program.

Summary of Position:

This position is a full-time, 12-month, benefits eligible position as core faculty in the online RN-BSN nursing program. The candidate must be a registered nurse with at least a Master of Science in Nursing degree, and eligible for licensure in Virginia. The position will have responsibilities for teaching and student advising in the program and work closely with the nursing faculty across programs at MDCHS.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a highly interprofessional, collaborative teaching and learning environment.

Professional Qualifications:

Required:

  • Candidates must have Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
  • Be eligible for RN licensure in the State of Virginia
  • Have at least 3 years of clinical practice experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hold a terminal degree, preferably in nursing (DNP, PhD) or are currently enrolled in a doctoral program with a completion date within 3 years
  • Experience with or understanding of online educational learning and teaching including use of learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various Learning Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency with Apple IOS products.
