The Biology Department at Mary Baldwin University invites applications for an adjunct professorship to begin January 2023. The department is seeking an individual with a strong commitment to inclusive pedagogies in science as well as enthusiasm for the environment of a small student-centered university. The successful candidate will have expertise in Genetics and must be able to teach lab-based courses.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Teaching 200-level Genetics lecture and lab.
  • Using and/or developing suitable laboratory course materials in conjunction with current faculty


  • MS in Biology or related discipline required, PhD preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
