  • Speaker series featuring local entrepreneurs and community leaders
  • Entrepreneurship certification; completion of certificate may provide early access to MBA program
  • 1:1 coaching sessions with the program director and peer advising
  • Mentorship program to learn industry insights and obtain career advice
  • Option to earn your bachelor’s degree and MBA in four years

  • Plan, launch, and analyze an original business venture throughout the program.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Want in? Here’s how.

  • Must enter as freshmen and plan to live on campus (rising MBU sophomores may apply in the spring before their sophomore year)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and 1100 SAT or equivalent ACT score
  • No additional application required; simply indicate your interest in the Business Leaders LLC when you apply to MBU. If you’ve already applied and been accepted, simply email admit@marybaldwin.edu and tell us you’re interested.

Optional master’s degree

Four- and five-year MBA programs available to package with your undergraduate degree

You can also choose to complete your bachelor’s degree in three years

YEAR ONE

  • Leadership seminar provides opportunities to engage students in major and career exploration, promote leadership development, and build professional skills
  • Take a business plan from inception to market with your fellow community members.
  • Begin Entrepreneurial Life Plan (ELP) 

YEAR TWO

  • Focus on presentation skills
  • Opportunity to complete internships
  • Small groups will develop plans for small-scale businesses to be run the following year.

YEAR THREE

  • Focus on developing leadership skills
  • Continued internship opportunities
  • Groups will launch and operate businesses.
  • Mentorship program begins with local business leaders
