Dining Services at Mary Baldwin has taken its commitment to helping students establish and maintain healthy, balanced lifestyles a step further by creating the 2010–11 "Poster People" contest, designed to recognize the Boldly Baldwin students who exemplify wellness in all areas of everyday life.

Tara Ingrahm was one of about 20 Mary Baldwin College students who helped paint a mural in the cafeteria at the Valley Mission in Staunton Monday. The project was part of MBC's third annual Martin Luther King Day of Service, said Robyn Stegman of the college's Spencer Center for Civic and Global Engagement.
