Job Duties:

The Global Engagement Assistant is responsible for helping to expand opportunities for global engagement, including on-campus internationalization efforts and participation in study abroad.

  • Consult with students interested in considering study abroad; direct to Study Abroad 101 video and answer questions
  • Maintain accurate records about students interested in study abroad in designated spreadsheet
  • Develop a series of regular internationally-themed posts, announcements and events throughout the academic year in consultation with the Director
  • Help raise awareness of international exchange partner countries across campus
  • Create videos of part study abroad participants in collaboration with the Publicity Assistant
  • Assist with coordination and development of study abroad materials and awareness raising
