Job Duties:
The Global Engagement Assistant is responsible for helping to expand opportunities for global engagement, including on-campus internationalization efforts and participation in study abroad.
- Consult with students interested in considering study abroad; direct to Study Abroad 101 video and answer questions
- Maintain accurate records about students interested in study abroad in designated spreadsheet
- Develop a series of regular internationally-themed posts, announcements and events throughout the academic year in consultation with the Director
- Help raise awareness of international exchange partner countries across campus
- Create videos of part study abroad participants in collaboration with the Publicity Assistant
- Assist with coordination and development of study abroad materials and awareness raising
