The Mary E. Humphreys Biology Lecture Series

The Mary E. Humphreys Biology Lecture Series was established in 1992 in honor of Dr. Mary Humphreys, the late professor emerita of biology, who served on the biology faculty at Mary Baldwin University for 25 years (1943-1968). The series brings prominent scientists to the campus to present public lectures and talk about their work and interact with students, faculty, and staff. The program is sponsored by friends and former students of Dr. Humphreys.
