Hiu Ching Leung was born in Hong Kong in 1998. Hiu Ching came to the United States from Hong Kong when she was seventeen years old. She is currently studying at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston MA, as a painter. She is invested in becoming an artist by beginning the process with her undergraduate experience, as well as recently doing the artist international residency at RED GATE GALLERY in Beijing, China in 2019. She has applied and participated in a variety of group exhibitions in the Boston area as well as a few international projects. For example, The Boston Key Party at The Stove Factory Gallery, Charlestown, MA, Red Gate Residents’ Show in Beijing, China, 35×35 Chinese Art Project by Copelouzos Family Art Museum, Athens, Greece, etc. She has won the most important prizes for painting; Rob Moore Grant in Painting & Artist and Craftsman Award at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
