Truth or Dare

Daredevils only pick the truth,

not afraid to face a reality

as brutal as they are

as bitter as every moment is,

every out-of-the-way event is

how it makes you uncomfortable

the first few times

but gets easier, and then a necessity

to conquer every challenge

Only a truth is intangible

but a dare begs to be touched

held, gripped as tightly as my fingers

and my head can squeeze it.

So, a truth becomes the dare

as it is much harder to accomplish,

and much harder to give.
