Biographical Note: Alex Long resides in Oxford, MS where she lives and attends school at The University of Mississippi. She is a BFA candidate in Imaging Arts and is projected to graduate in the fall of 2021. Long’s photography focuses on portraiture that captures the human body. Her images explore the difficult relationships people have with their bodies. She wants her images to portray people’s willingness to be vulnerable while displaying a loss of control, that hopefully leads to strength.
