Biographical Note; Katherine Gan is a junior at Duke University, majoring in Global Gender Studies and minoring in History. She began writing poetry in the fall semester of 2020 and believes that poetry has the unique ability for readers and writers to be in touch with their feelings, process emotions and experiences, and heal.
