When I graduate next year from Hollins University, I will have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a photography concentration. My forte is narrative photography because my pictures evoke strong emotions and tell a story. I am influenced both by modern film and by documentary photographers like Dorothea Lange who with single shots managed to capture important slices of history. In the future I would like to travel to developing countries and tell the stories of ordinary people whose stories are rarely told.
