Meet the Staff
As the Manager at the coffee shop, Stephanie Palacios-Carachure has been learning the basics of running a new business. Because of her strong work ethic and attention to detail, the additional position of inventory manager was added to her responsibilities. In this position she conducts inventory control, regulates product ordering, and maintains an electronic accounting system for inventory management. Stephanie is a Sophomore majoring in Business who is thrilled to be involved in such an exciting opportunity as it develops.
As a Coffee Attendant, Chante writes the signs used to promote the coffee shop. Chante is keen on staying as positive as she can while working, and making it easier for customers to buy what they please, when they please. To her, The Center for Student Success is a perfect place to relax, do your work, get some extra tutoring, and to get your favorite snack! Chante Colbert is a freshman majoring in Education, with an emphasis on Elementary Education.
As a Coffee Attendant, Guadalupe Reyes ensures that coffee shop customers are well informed about the variety of products offered. Alongside her coworkers, she strongly believes that creating a friendly and welcoming work environment is essential to success. Individually, she accomplishes this by perpetually aiming to provide each customer with individualized attention. Guadalupe is a rising Junior double majoring in Health Care Administration and International Affairs with two minors, Business and Leadership Studies.
Danyale “Paige” Wimmer
Currently, Paige is a Senior at Mary Baldwin University. She is majoring in Business with an emphasis in Sustainability and minoring in Peace-building and Conflict Resolution. As Closing Manager, Paige utilizes customer service skills while working as an asset to the Coffee Shop team. Through her daily roles as an attendant she helps keep the coffee shop running by stocking, cleaning, and serving customers.
Jennifer Diaz is majoring in health science and minoring in mathematics. As a Coffee Attendant, she assures that customers obtain what they want and leave satisfied. She works hard to be part of a team and to assure that the coffee shop runs smoothly. She enjoys serving customers and assuring that the coffee shop is well maintained. She greets customers with a smile and tells them to have a great day.
Dr. Janet Ewing
Dr. Janet Ewing is an Associate Professor of Business at Mary Baldwin University. She founded the Squirrel’s Corner and continues to aid the students that run it.
