DescriptionMay - June Pink-Purple to white, low growing with few oval shaped leaves. Moist Woods, or wood borders. The flower structure is unique to the milkworts, three petals fuse to make the corolla tube, the lower one is fringed. The flowers in this species are much larger than other milkworts.49 The second part of the flower is the wings that are two colored sepals that may reach 3/4” in length. |
