Had been placed in genus Specularia -derived from Latin mirror, but only seed has a shiny surface, so moved to genus Triodanis.

Description

May June  Solitary blue flowers borne above leaves clasping the stem. Few flowers open at one time, Open woods, fields, roadsides.
