Biographical Note: Kiara Bennett is an Afro-Caribbean artist from Bowie, Maryland. She attends Towson University and is a transfer from Frostburg State University. Her major is Art Education with a minor in Japanese language. Her artwork is heavily inspired by her imaginary happy places, past experiences, future wishes, and music/film influences. Her dream when she gets older is to sell her prints/designs on merchandise, become a professional tattoo artist, host and participate in art shows, teach and help build the platforms of other up and coming young Black artists, and hopefully open her own studio one day.
