Guest Clinician – Dr. Jeffrey Murdock
Associate Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Arkansas
2021 GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year
Registration – $20.00 per student
This choral festival is designed for participating students to have the opportunity to perform under the leadership of an internationally renowned choral clinician/conductor while performing with other student singers from an array of locations. This full-day event will include: music packet, campus tours, lunch (provided by the MBU Dining Services), a commemorative t-shirt and conclude with a performance of the repertoire students have workshopped with the guest conductor. In addition, each individual school choral ensemble will be able to perform for the guest clinician and festival host to receive written feedback that will assist the high school director as they continue on this musical journey. This will also be a great resource for the ensemble as they continue to prepare for the upcoming District Choral Assessment.
Lastly, interested vocal soloists may also register to receive a short private lesson with one of the MBU Voice Faculty members.
