Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare is looking to fill the position titled Mental Health Specialist.
We are looking for a Mental Health Specialist to join our team of compassionate staff. MHS personnel directly work with the young men we serve. They offer support and assistance as needed with activities of daily living.
Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare has a residential treatment facility and a group home that serves adolescent males with intellectual disabilities and psychiatric disorders. Direct care workers are responsible for the guidance of young men in order to promote an independent lifestyle.
Successful candidates must also be able to:
1. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
2. Effectively use the full range of body motion
3. Successfully complete and pass all components of Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation Crisis Intervention Training
4. Effectively perform facility approved First Aid and CPR techniques
5. Have a high school diploma or GED
6. Must be at least 21 years old.
A valid driver’s license and favorable driving record is preferred.
This is a full-time position for the Evening Shift. Will work a combination of 2 8-hour days (3:00p-11:30p) and 2 12-hour days (11:00a-11:30p) in each Sunday-Saturday work week with 4 day weekends off every other week or 5 8-hour (3:00p-11:30p) days with every other weekend off.
