Southwest Florida Water Management District is looking to fill the position titled Environmental Scientist.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District), a leader in protecting Florida’s water resources, is seeking an Environmental Scientist to provide professional level technical and administrative work to support the Surface Water Improvement & Management (SWIM) program in the District’s Tampa office. With the help of state agencies, local governments and other organizations, the SWIM program evaluates priority water bodies, identifies potential problems and implements projects consistent with the District’s Strategic Plan to protect and improve water quality and natural systems. The SWIM program is administered through the Natural Systems & Restoration Bureau.
This position will be filled based on qualifications of the successful candidate. Starting salary depends on education and years of related experience.
