Job Title: Student Office Assistant to the Director of Student Activities and LGBTQ Resources

Office/Department: Student Activities and LGBTQ Resources

Position Description: This work study position will support the missions of the Office of Student Activities and LGBTQ Resources and the Office of Student Engagement to promote a diverse, inclusive, and affirming community within Mary Baldwin University. The position requires the student to be Safe Zone trained and is expected to maintain confidentiality at all times. The position will complete tasks that support the day to day functions of the office as well as special projects as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Brainstorming programming opportunities and ideas that can be developed into a real-life action
    or action plan
  • Credit card & receipt organization and reconciliation
  • Drafting Flyers and event promotion for Student Activity specific events
  • Updating the office calendar, physical and digital
  • Prepare notes for bi-weekly reflection meeting
  • Restocking student supply areas
  • Other duties as assigned
