Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources – Stuarts Draft, VA – 15.00 per hour
System One is looking to fill the position titled Summer Student Finance.
System One is seeking a motivated and dependable finance student to work over the summer at a candy making facility in Stuarts Draft.
The successful candidate must be enrolled in college and pursuing a degree.
The successful candidate will be working in an industrial environment and be expected to assume a very “hands-on” role
Preference will be given to candidates who have
completed at least two years of college level coursework
completed at least one course focusing on cost or management accounting
declared a major in Accounting, Finance or Statistics.
Other necessary attributes required to ensure a successful summer work experience are as follows:
must be capable of working independently after receiving direction
must have strong PC skills, including experience with Excel and Word
must have excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
must be able to pick up new concepts quickly
must be a self-starter with a desire to learn from the opportunity while delivering meaningful work
must be dependable with reliable transportation
must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
must be willing to work 30 hours per week
Specific responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
analytics of records, recipes, bills of materials, routings and processes.
development and organization of instructional / training materials
incorporation of new warehouse labeling
