Job Duties: Engineering and Maintenance duties include responding to work orders across the
main campus regarding issues with lighting, temperature, plumbing, door locks, windows, and
other duties as assigned.

Expectations: Arrive on time, bring a positive attitude, complete tasks assigned, ask for
directions or assistance, and communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. You’ll have an
MBU logo shirt to wear. Physical labor is involved, so must be able to lift and carry at least 50
lbs short distances and longer distances with assistance of hand trucks and other members of
the campus support/grounds team.

Special skills or knowledge you need: Desired: basic home maintenance

Skills you will develop: You’ll receive on the-job-training with various tools and learn basic
plumbing, electric, and HVAC skills to ensure the maintenance of 25 buildings.

Hours: You’ll have a set schedule of 7-10 hours over each week between 7am and 3:30pm. The
hours will be scheduled around the student’s academic classes.

Location: MBU Main Campus, begin each shift at the Engineering and Maintenance Division
