Expectations: The Student Services and Admission Departments at Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences (MDCHS), Mary Baldwin University are seeking a work study eligible student to assist with various tasks in those service areas. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Interact with prospective students by phone, email and in person.
- Event assistance (virtual and in-person), including but not limited to preparation and set up, registration, attendee engagement, etc.
- Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts to bring greater awareness of MDCHS to MBU.
- Data assessment and management
Special skills or knowledge you need:

- Experience providing customer support
- Familiarity with health professions equipment
- Must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Professionalism including being reliable, punctual, dependable, and able to complete tasks promptly showing initiative and self-sufficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, and social media
- Strong commitment to confidentiality

Hours: Available 10 hours per week for work tasks, may include some evenings and weekends
